Your Cassa-plantain, Our Fufu

Your Spiced Rice, Our Jollof

Way back in Junior High, i had this sweet, smart school sister who was an angel in my heaven😇. I would be a pin in the ass sometimes but she treated me just right 😏. We shared a lot of moments in school but one i would never forget was when she brought us a treat she claimed she prepared herself😆. I was quite amused because i thought "oh c'mon she couldn't do that by herself" until i tasted the food😌.... 😱omg!! it was awesome😂😂💔. Her jollof made my day that day😝.

Jollof rice is one of the most common dishes in West Africa. Originating from Senegal, the food is widely consumed within the length and breadth of West African countries including Mali, Ghana, Nigeria and Gambia. It is known in different countries as Benachin, riz au gras, ceebu jën, zaamè.
